Transport Information
The school is situated just off the main A422 which runs across Milton Keynes as Monks Way. Access to the school is therefore easy and many parents bring their children to school by car. The school maintains a fleet of 8 mini-buses for those parents who find it impossible to bring their children to school because of work times or distance. The buses operate within a radius of 25 miles and pick up children from Luton, Buckingham, Northampton and Aylesbury as well as numerous villages within this radius. They also collect from Milton Keynes train station. In most cases children are picked up and dropped off at their home addresses. There is a charge for this facility according to the distance the child has to travel on the bus.
Drivers posses the appropriate level of qualification and entitlement on their licence and are enhanced CRB cleared. The buses themselves are fully maintained and have regular servicing. All buses have seatbelts and mobile phones for the drivers to deal with any emergencies that may occur. They also comply with the present law regarding mobile phones and the telephones are hands free sets. There is an overall transport manager who co-ordinates this transport system.
During school hours, we often use the buses to take small educational trips in and around Milton Keynes. Where the number of children on these trips is large, or where the location is further afield, we hire buses from reputable bus companies.
Bus Service
We provide a safe, reliable and cost-effective travel service to and from school for your convenience. In order to be able to provide this service we ask that you please note the following information.
Transport to and from School is operated with a half-termly notice period so we ask that notice please be given at the beginning of term, or half term for cessation of use of the transport one half term later.
Transport fees will be invoiced for the term in advance, to be paid with the tuition fees in the normal way.
For the safety of your child, our drivers are responsible for the discipline on the bus. In the event of a pupil misbehaving or causing an unsafe situation, the incident will be reported to the Head Teacher who may, if necessary prohibit the use of the transport for the safety of others.
For logistical reasons and to keep the costs down, we only offer the transport to those who pre-book a return journey for every school day.
Should there be space available, then we may extend the service to single journeys to and from selected destinations.
The traffic congestion in Milton Keynes has deteriorated to such an extent that we are no longer able to take the minibuses to every pupil's home address. The journey times have increased so much that we are now forced to use central pick-up locations for many of the routes. The Facilities Department will indicate where these pick-up points will be, where required.

The school currently offers 8 routes to the following towns, picking up at villages en route to school:

Newport Pagnell.
Stony Stratford.
Milton Keynes and surrounding villages - including MK Station for students coming by train from the Berkhamsted area.
