Thank you for your interest in Bury Lawn School. As a GEMS managed school, we recognise that the investment you are making in your child's education is the most important one you will ever make. We are committed to delivering an education with unlimited return that provides everything your child needs to grow into an exceptional adult.
Bury Lawn has a non-selective intake. We accept pupils of all abilities providing that we feel they can benefit from the school's approach. Children can enter into any year group, at any time of the year, as long as we have a place available. Please see our admissions policy for full details.
The school has a Registrar who will conduct initial interviews and will guide both parent and child through all they need to know.
This personal customer care does not stop on registration but continues right through to the childs first day in school when the office staff and the form teacher will take over as the first point of contact.
Newly registered children are sent personal information before they join to make them welcome and in the case of the very youngest children, home visits can be organised. When the children come on their first day, they will be welcomed and given a 'buddy' to look after them during the day. Timetables, text books and homework diaries will be issued as needed.
Everyone will work together to make a 'new child' feel really at home.
