Milton Keynes is 50 miles from London, 80 miles from Birmingham and 50 miles from Oxford and Cambridge.The M1 and A5 trunk roads run through Milton Keynes and the M40 is just to the west of Buckingham. Northampton is within a 30 minute drive of the school.The west coast main line from London Euston runs through Milton Keynes with a direct service to Gatwick airport and Heathrow, Birmingham and Luton airports are within easy reach. Milton Keynes was designated as a new town on 23rd January 1967 and is the largest new town in England.

Bury Lawn in the Locality
Bury Lawn School is situated at the end of Soskin Drive, Stantonbury Fields which is just off A422 Monks Way (H3). The school is within 3 miles of junction 14 of the M1, a mile from the west coast main line serving Euston and the north and a mile from the A5 (Watling Street). Bury Lawn is 2 miles from Milton Keynes shopping centre which has become one of Europe’s largest since the opening of a new extension in September 2000. The centre is also home to a theatre, gallery and also a sports and leisure centre containing one of Europe’s largest indoor real snow ski slopes, a multiplex cinema, bowling alley and shops. The area also benefits from a number of beautiful parks and lakes such as Willen. The Grand Union Canal runs through the town. Local historical sites include Bradwell Abbey, Bletchley Park and Woburn Abbey.

Rd in the direction of Newport
Pagnell • After 1.3 miles reach the Tickford Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto
the A422
• Go through 4 roundabouts on the dual carriageway, 2.9 miles
• Turn right at Soskin Drive, signposted Stantonbury Fields
• At T junction turn right to stay on Soskin Drive
• Bury Lawn School is situated at the end of Soskin Drive

From the North:
• Take the exit for A422 towards Milton Keynes
• If travelling southbound, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A422/Monks
Way
• If travelling northbound, at the roundabout, take the 5th exit onto A422/Monks
Way
• Go through 3 roundabouts, 2 miles
• Turn left at Soskin Drive, signposted Stantonbury Fields
• Turn right to stay on Soskin Drive
• Bury Lawn School is situated at the end of Soskin Drive
