Early Years Foundation Stage

The Early Years Foundation Stage

Holiday time at Bury Lawn School - Summer 2009

EYFS

You must pay us a visit to experience the lively, busy atmosphere engendered by the wide range of activities available to the youngest members of our community.  The children’s enjoyment is quite contagious!

Experience the positive environment, created by caring and watchful staff, which is the starting point for the children’s learning.

Sample the freedom that the outdoor areas offer to our children - and the staff! Here children can explore and experiment, learn to take risks, and continue the learning experiences initiated in the indoor classrooms.

Discover for yourself how we cater for the different stages of development in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

See how our confident and inquisitive children are challenged, and how those who are still developing these skills are carefully nurtured within the security of familiar surroundings and familiar adults.

Meet the staff who will be able to talk you through the EYFS curriculum and the exciting opportunities it offers.

Be reassured that your child is very important and that, alongside their education, ensuring their welfare and safety is our priority.

Letters From Parents

Bury Lawn has given Samantha an excellent start in her academic life, and she has flourished under the tuition of Miss Boardman, Mrs Barklamb and Mrs Hookey.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the team in the nursery.  I know she will miss everyone, as will I.  But thank you again for giving Samantha a love of school and learning that I hope she will hold on to for many years to come - Sarah Bohn, 21 June 2009

I would like to thank all the teachers for their care over the last 3 years and for providing Joshua with the best possible start in his school career - E Davidson, 01 April 2009

Just a note to say that Jacob is really enjoying his time at Bury Lawn and is very excited to tell us his daily news following his mornings - R Benzie, 03 March 2009
