As an all age, 3 years to 18 years, all ability, independent (ISA) co-educational day school, with numerous international pupils from families posted to Milton Keynes on professional secondments, we have a breadth of personnel, cultural influences and perspectives beyond our size and location.  In addition, it is a small school which prides itself on its family atmosphere in which everybody is valued as an individual and is encouraged to reach their full potential within a disciplined yet caring atmosphere. It offers the close care and attention, in small classes, that larger schools cannot match. It would not be an exaggeration to say that everyone knows everyone else and the benefits associated with this are immeasurable.

In the current economic climate making a decision about private education is more difficult than usual. Recent changes to charity law which have been well publicised in the media have added to the difficulty. Bury Lawn however does not have charitable status and is thus unaffected by the concerns raised by the need to meet a public benefit test that many schools with charitable status will have to face.
